Actress Jun Ji Hyun’s untimely divorce rumors were grounded by her agency’s statement.
In a statement made on June 3, Jun’s agency Culture Depot said, “We would like to make it clear that everything mentioned in the news video is groundless.”
“We have confirmed that factless information is spreading indiscriminately online. Also, the rumors derived from Youtube broadcast of Garosero Research Institute and Chirashi are intentionally malicious. Now we would like to find out the exact facts, and we plan to take strong legal action against the false information spread through articles and comments that are different from actual facts.”

Previously, on June 2, one popular rightist youtube channel based in South Korea named Garosero Research Institute raised the rumor of divorce between Jun Ji-hyun and her husband Choi Joon Hyuk.
Jun Ji Hyun Divorce Rumors: Groundless!-Says Her Agency
As for reporter Kim Yong-ho, rumors of Jun Ji hyun’s divorce first came out in December of last year, and she and her husband were in separation for the last six months. Moreover, Jun’s husband left the house and said, “I don’t want to stay as your (Jun’s) husband anymore!”
“Jun’s husband ran away from home, and possibly is having affair with another woman. But Jun doesn’t want a divorce, she’s somehow trying to suture their relationship”- he added.
“ Jun receives 1 billion won (USD 900k) per advertisement. So if she gets divorced, she will have to pay 3 billion won penalties per ad for defamation of the brands. And she has to sell two or three buildings she currently owns for the compensation.” – Reporter Kim spectaculated.
Garosero Research Institute raised the rumor of divorce between Jun Ji-hyun and her husband Choi Joon Hyuk.
The reporters from Garosero also stated that, despite her husband’s infidelity, Jun doesn’t want to divorce him because she has two baby sons with him (5 years old and 3 years old respectively). But in case she has to get divorced, she is even planning to immigrate for not spoiling her reputation.

All about Jun’s husband: Relation, Marriage and Family
Jun Ji hyun and her husband Choi Joon Hyuk were elementary school classmates and lived their childhood in the same neighborhood. The two met again in 2010 through an acquaintance in a family gathering. Then they gradually built up romantic relationship, tied their knot in 2012 and the couple currently have two sons.
